on early models its next to the fuel tank.
on later models its inseide the fuel tank, you can access it by lifting the rear passenger seat and its under an oval plate. it could also be inside the boot.
Fuel pump?
Without more detail change fuel pump and filters. I hope this helps
No, the 89 e30 325i only has one in tank fuel pump located under your back seat on the right hand side.
I think you will find the indicator relay under the steering column so remove the plastic cover and swap old with new. I hope this helps
I don't know what year yours is but if it's an E30 ( 84 - 90 ) the fuel pump is in your tank under your back seat. You may have two fuel pumps. Start your car and remove the fuse ( #11 ) for your fuel pump and let it run till it dies to relieve the fuel pressure. Disconnect your battery neg cable first. Take up the back seat and locate the top of the fuel pump ( passenger side ). Get some rags ready and take off the hoses and remember where they go. Disconnect the electrical connection(s) and remember where they go too. The pump comes apart in two pieces. The inner piece is your fuel level sender, take it out first then carefully take out your pump being careful not to knock off the little filter for wich you will have to fish around in your tank if you do. Installation is reverse of removal.
E30 was the 3 series BMW model from 1982-1994.
what year? E30? E36? E46? E90? Adam (adam.francis@snowsgroup.co.uk)
It is located in the fuel tank and accessible from under the rear seat. Some E30 BMW models had two fuel pumps but I think yours has only one. It's on the passenger side. If your fuel pump isn't working check the 50 amp fusible link first. It is in the trunk. Follow the smaller of the two positive leads from your battery. Its under a plastic trim piece that holds down your carpet about halfway to the place where it leaves the trunk space.
The E30 designation refers to the body shape of the car. The E30 is the designation given to 3 series BMWs between the years of '81 to '91.
Your power steering fluid can be low, or bad power steering pump, or simply you just have some air in the lines.
hi, E30 series have stopped being produced in 1991, and 1994 for estates models, i don't which 1997 e30 you are talking about.
The only things that would cause this are all bad fuel leak safety problems. Have it checked and repaired before it catches fire!
