Bosphorus ( Boğaziçi in Turkish) seperates European istanbul from Asian Istanbul. Istanbul is surrounded with Black Sea at the north and Marmara Sea at the south. Here Bosphorus is the sea flow of these two seas.
Istanbul is the largest city in Turkey and dates to ancient times as Constantinople. It lies on the Bosporus Strait that connects the Sea of Marmara to the Black Sea.
Istanbul's districts extend far from the city center along the full length of the Bosphorus (with the Black Sea at top and the Sea of Marmara at bottom).
This city is Istanbul but the city-proper is not so close to the Black Sea. (The Istanbul metropolitan area nearly extends to the Black Sea.)
The capital city of Turkey is Ankara. It is important to note that Turkey is not divided between Europe and Asia (in terms of subnational regions). The region with the entirety of Europe in it is the Marmara Region which also has areas from northwest Anatolia (with roughly the same area). This region, however, is cultural, as opposed to administrative and therefore has no capital. Istanbul does serve as capital of Istanbul Province, which is on both sides of the Bosporus. See the related link for an image of the Marmara Region.
No, the Black Sea is North of Turkey. The Sea of Marmara is way smaller and is located between the Aegean Sea and the Black Sea. The Black Sea and the Sea of Marmara are separated by a strip of land in Turkey. Located here is the Capital city of Istanbul (formerly Constantinople). These two seas made the ancient city of Constantinople prosperous.
