A survey in 2009 found self-identified adherents to Judaism in 136 countries.

The one country that hosts more Jews than any other country is Israel. At the end of

2010, the number of Jews living in Israel was still very slightly less than half of the world's

estimated Jewish population, and the other slightly-more-than-half were still dispersed

among 135 other countries.

There's no doubt that if Israel hasn't yet passed the 50% mark, it will any minute now.

(It's also important to mention in connection with this discussion that the nation

of Israel does not have an official religion.)
