After beating Brock head East towards Mt Moon. As you travel through Mt Moon you will encounter a Fossil Maniac if you defeat him he will allow you one of his two fossil. You cannot get the other fossil of the two at any point in the game so pick carefully.
For the last in game fossil you need to visit Pewter Museum via the back entrance you will need Cut from the S.S Anne and the badge from Vermillion before you can use cut. In the museum one of the works will give you the old Amber containing Aerodactyl.
