Well what he says is true but something to try is to equip scan.To defeat him(most effective way)is to use the action when it says learn the use the move jump and keep doing that.don't worry if you dir because sometimes(most likely)you will turn into Micky.he only knows 3 things(technically 4) because he knows jump,pearl,attack,and(a healing power).well i didn't defeat him yet but.......hope this helped.
