The flu vaccine comes in a nasal inhalation and in a hypodermic injection.
Hypodermic is of or relating to the region immediately beneath the skin or a hypodermic syringe or injection.
A subcutaneous injection is also known as a subQ or SC injection.
Hypodermic.
An intradermal injection is made into the middle layers of the skin.

An "hypodermic injection" or in the US a "shot".
Ampule
Because the medication works its way through your fat tissue and then into your bloodstream!
Subcutaneous injection can be given below the skin.. Intradermal injection can be given in-between the skin and base of the hair
Depending on your pain tolerance level, the size of the needle, and the type of injection, you may experience anything from no pain to a sharp burning sensation.
