It depends what country. In France, bakery's are key to local culture/life. There's probably good business there. In big cities less likely because people are busy. In a small town bakery could well be a good venture.
Right now Carlos Bakery doesn't ship cakes they make them at the bakery, reserve them for you, and then have you pick it up at the bakery on a specified date. This is only good if you live there not if you live in California or Washington

I honestly think Carlos Bakery in Hoboken New Jersey I have personally been there before and it is very good!
