Heater coil
On my 1994 DeVille it is locate underhood on the fire wall{this is the wall between the engine compartment and the passenger compartment}; (mid-way between the strut towers). It has a 3-4 wire connector running to it. If you are standing in front of the vehicle (in the middle of the grill) find the Ignition coil pack [all of the spark plug wires connect to the Ignition coil pack]. Directly behind the right end of the ignition coil pack on the fire wall is the blower motor. Good luck. ANSWER its more to the right middle about 12 ins to the right of the coil pack a 3 to 4 hr job
remove the upper intake then lower. might change plugs and wires as well
No you need coil spring spacers or to replace them with heavy duty springs from a truck you will also needhub spacers so it will not rub
the coil is behind the motor
Front are easy to access, rear is the same but very tight. Remove plastic engine cover. The Northstar engine uses a coil pack that is directly over the spark plugs. It is right up front on top of the engine. It is held on by approx. 9 screws. Unscrew these and unplug the coilpack. spark plugs are located in the four holes in front of you. Same for rear of engine, just a little harder to get to.
try changing your coil as well as your secondary coil make sure there is gas and spark drive safe
yeah if you raise the coil springs I converted my suspension from air to regular but my 97 already had coil springs so all I really had to get was new rear struts then all I had to do was get longer coil springs and im sitting on 24''s here is a good site to buy larger stuff from http://www.universalcarlifts.com/CADILLAC.html
in the front on the side closest to pasengers wheel.
