I assume you have a 318 CI. Cylinder 1 is located on the drivers side. It is the cylinder closest to the front of the engine. Drivers side: Front of engine 1, 3, 5, 7 back of engine
Passenger side: Front of engine 2, 4, 6, 8 back of engine
In the oil pan.
Back of the engine next to the distributor.
The asd relay is located under the master cylinder close to the battery. The other relay under the master cylinder is the starter relay, but it is away from the battery. Hope that helps.

Looking at the engine, the #1 cylinder will on your right hand side of the block, very first cylinder.
1984 Dodge Ram 50 firing order for the 2.0 and the 2.6 are 1, 3, 4, 2. Cylinder 1 is closest to the fan, cylinder 3 is next, cylinder 2 and cylinder 4 is at the back of the engine.
Cylinder order for Dodge V8 passenger side is 2 - 4 - 6 - 8 front to rear. Cylinder order for Dodge V8 driver's side is 1 - 3 - 5 - 7 front to rear.
