In a 2000 Ford Mustang , 3.8 liter V6 , automatic transmission :
The automatic Transmission Fluid level dipstick is by the firewall , in the area
near where the transmission bolts to the rear of the engine , on the
PASSENGER side of the engine in the engine compartment
The dipstick cover is labeled Transmission Fluid. Transmission fluid on a 2000 Ford Mustang is added in the neck of the dipstick tube after the dipstick has been removed.
The manual transmission doesn't have a dipstick . There will be a fill plug somewhere on the transmission underneath the car
the transmission dipstick is on the passenger side of the engine, closer to the window than the front of the car. it has a pull-knob just like the oil dipstick. mine is black and was covered in grease, so it was hard to see, the letters were covered up, but when you clean it off it reads "TRANS FLUID". it also tells you exactly what type of trans fluid the car needs.
if it is a 4 speed there is no tranny dipstick
On your 1994 Ford Mustang with the 3.8 liter V6 engine : The engine oil dipstick is on the drivers side of the engine
Manual has no dipstick. Auto is near the firewall.
The V6 - 2000 Ford Mustang is 190 horsepower
It should show on the transmission dipstick or the dipstick handle
THere is no dipstick on a 2005-2007 Mustang since Ford considereds the transmission sealed it wont need fluid added unless it has a leak or you are changing the fluid.
In a 1989 Ford Mustang 5.0 The AUTOMATIC transmission fluid level dipstick is located in the engine compartment , near the firewall , just to the passenger side of the engine The manual transmission does not have a dipstick
