The distributor is in the back like on most chevys. If you can not see it that is because you did not remove the big black plastic warmer on top of the motor... It sounds like whatever it is you are doing should probably be done by someone else...
LT1
yes
nope
No, the motor mounts on an LS1 and an LT1 are not the same. The LS1 uses a different mounting system compared to the LT1, reflecting the design and engineering changes made in the transition from the LT1 to the LS series engines. If swapping between these engines, you'll need to use the appropriate motor mounts designed for each engine type.
To determine if your 1993 Buick Roadmaster has an LT1 motor, check the engine block for a VIN stamp or identification tag; the LT1 typically has a "LT1" designation. Additionally, the LT1 engine features a unique design with a distributor located at the rear of the engine and an aluminum intake manifold. You can also look for a serpentine belt system and a single throttle body, which are characteristic of the LT1. If you have access to the owner's manual or service records, they may also specify the engine type.
yes you can,summit sells the GM lt1 to carb conversion intake for about 250 bucks
LT1 350
Yes.
1lt. = 1000cc = 10hp.
91c is the designation for the police spec caprice.it should in most cases already have an lt1,lt1 is the motor,91c is the car specs, but since its a 91 it may be too old for the lt1 option, so that part i dont know.i just know for sure 91c is not a motor.
will a mid 80s 305v8 fit in a 1993 firebird that had a lt1 in it
Not unless someone put it in there. They didnt put the lt1 in the caprice until 94. Dont let anyone fool you either, the lt1 has a very distinctive look.
