Fort Lugard used to be on top of Old Kampala hill, just opposite Old Kampala Secondary school. Leading into the fort was, Old fort road, which still exists till present, although the Fort itself is no longer there. The actual spot where the fort once was has now been taken up by the Muslim Supreme Council, with reports that the fort 'remains' where moved to a new location though such a location has never been publicized.
