There are a few. There is one in the engine compartment on the left side by the fuel pump. Then there is one on top of the gas tank, and one in the gas tank itself. I eliminated the one on top of the gas tank by conecting the lines since it isn't really necessary. Since you cant replace the filter that is inside the tank, you have to drain the tank and drop it. Then you can spray break cleaner or another solvent back through the fuel line and you should see it come out the filter. This is about the only way to clean it. While you have the gas tank dropped it is a good idea to replace all the rubber fuel lines and clamps you can see since this will help prevent any leakages which way happen to old and brittle pipes. Once you have a leakage the fuel lines will suck air and you vehicle wont be able to build up pressure in the fuel lines and will constantly die on the road.
mY fUEL fILTER IS RIGHT NEAR THE TANK UNDER THE TRUCK BUY THE FRAME RIGHT NEAR THE GAS TANK ! THE BOOK SAYS IT IS BUY THE BATTERY FOR A MANUAL FUEL PUMP WHICH A 1980 HAS But it isnt on my truck Hope this helps
where is the fuel filter located on a 2002 Nissan frontier truck 4 cycle
in the fuel tank...it's electric not even close - while it is electric, it is attached with the fuel filter to the frame in front of the right (passenger side) rear tire - before you give an answer, at least go look at it -thanks
The 1986 Chevrolet C10 pickup truck fuel filter is located inside of the fuel tank. The fuel tank will need to be removed in order to change the fuel filter.
fuel tank
Under the hood on passenger side fender well. One of the lines will go to the suction side of the fuel pump that says in and the other line will go back to the gas tank on the truck.
The fuel filter is on the passenger side of the engine under the intake
There is no serviceable fuel line filter on your truck. The only fuel filter is part of the fuel pump assembly in the fuel tank. Like a screen strainer. I had owned a 1998 Dodge Durango with the same setup.
The fuel filter is probally underneath bolted to the frame, the fuel line comes out of the gas tank and is secured to the inner part of the frame and the fuel filter should be bolted to the frame about the center of the truck.
Filter is built into the fuel tank and is part of the fuel pump. It is non-servicable.
bleed the fuel and then start or manualy fill the new fuel filter and then try it
The fuel filter is part of the pump module in the fuel tank.
