Fuel filter for Elantra 2008 is together with the fuel pump and the fuel pump is inside the gas tank. You need to remove the rear back seat, then disconnect the fuse or electrict connection, then start the car untill stop by itself, like that you empty the line,so you can desconnect the gas line or suply line and dont make a mess. then you need an special tool to uncrew the tap and get access to the fuel pump, then take out slowly and right there you will see the filter, just remove it and put the new and reverse every thing. then put the key,pass it but not start yet,allow 10 to 15 second and then start the car, you are done.
