I've got same problem. I've been told to look under rear axle. Haven't had chance to look yet.
There were many types of Clio cars produced since 1999. The most recent Clio car produced is the Clio 182. It was first produced in the year 2004.

Using a screwdriver, remove the screws and clips in the doors, remove the panel slowly from the frame. Remove the wiring connections, and the panel should come free.

The reservoir for the brake fluid on a Renault Clio is located on the master cylinder. This is located under the hood on the drivers side.
