It is a electric pump , and it is inside of the gas tank .
Not a easy job , mine quit in our blazer ,in the middle of winter , I had a shop do mine , they only use AC Delco parts , so that said , $751.00 and that included a $50.00 tow and a new fuel filter .The pump prices vary , for after market , to OEM equipment , like AC Delco , the pump is $400.00 + for a Delco.
