Look in the owners manual. There is a fuse. In the fuse box low on the dash to the left of steering coluum.
IT COLUD BE A RELAY BOX multi function switch( turn signal, lites ect.)
Under the hood. Fuse number 69 is the tail light fuse
On the fuse box under the hood it shows STOP and HORN that should be for the brake lights
I would locate the fuse in the fuse box and remove the fuse, that's not fixing the problem but it will stop the automatic locking.
It is the fuse that says stop light under the hood in the fuse box on the driver's side of the car.
Hi, The fuse that feeds power to the stop lamp switch (on the brake pedal) is located in the passenger side dash fuse box. I believe it is a 15 amp fuse. I have included a link to a diagram of that fuse box. Good Luck, Greg A.
The 1999 Chrysler LHS dashboard clock fuse can be found in the fuse box. The fuse box can be found in the engine compartment. The location of the fuse will be listed on the inside cover of the fuse box.
Hello: You can first try,,,looking for the fuse box,,,and see if there is a fuse for the ringing bell. Pull the fuse out,,,and the noise will stop.
on the fuse panel there is one labeled stop lamps, if its your brake lights, it is the fuse that is located 3rd from the left and 5th from the bottom of the fuse box
If both are inoperative check the fuse, and the brake light switch.
You will have to remove the dashboard in order to get to the lites. Autozone.com has detailed instructions. However, first check the fuses. If you don't know where the fuse box is, look in your owner's manual. If you don't have a manual, call up or stop back your local Mazda dealership.
