I have the original owners manual for a Ford 1968 Thunderbird. I scanned an image of the diagram and posted it here: http://www.opensourceopportunities.com/Ford-Thunderbird-1968-fuse-diagram.jpg
Have you checked the fuse panel under the dashboard for the instrumentation fuse being good or bad?
The fuse box is located behind the Right hand kick panel.
there is a fuse dedicated to the running lights on the 96 Thunderbird. Check your fuse panel under the dashboard for the proper fuse and check to see if it is blown.
The flasher for a 195 Thunderbird is under the drivers side of the dash. It is located at the fuse panel.
Click on the link below Click on Owner Guides The owners manual ( which includes the fuse panel diagram ) can be viewed on-line
Fusebox is on the passenger side behind the floor kick panel
On the front passenger seat, down where your right foot would be when sitting, you'll see an access panel on the plastic kick panel. Pull the panel off and the fuse box will be right there.
In a 1996 Ford Thunderbird : In the fuse panel under the instrument panel , to the left of the steering column ( on the fuse panel it is marked SEAT / LOCK , it is a 20 amp fuse for the power locks , power seats , and decklid release solenoid )
Open the drivers door and look at the lower dash and you will see a panel that can be removed and that is where you will find the fuse.
