a hard disk is a disk inside the hard drive that stores information. A computer's hard disk, or hard drive, is not a part of or mounted on the motherboard, or any of the computer's circuit boards. The drive is installed into some part of the frame within the computer. Its location is not important, because the user does not have to physically access the drive. The hard drive does, however, have a data connection to the motherboard, over which information is transferred to and from the drive.

Not necessarily. "ATA-150" is SATA. If your motherboard has an IDE controller, the disk will work. If the board has only SATA, you will not be able to connect the drive without an adapter.
1Tb hard disk supports but its not guaranteed to work perfectly it may cause problems to mother board the preferred one is 500 GB hard disk. I have checked 1 TB hard disk With D945GCL MotherBoard, but its not working ie. MotherBoard is not Supporting.
500 gb hard disk duel core prodesser intel mother board 4 gb ram
No, a hard disk drive is not a part of the motherboard. The mother board is the actual processing unit of the cpu. It performs all the operations and calculations etc while the hard disk is the memory storage unit of the computer. The hard disk is where all the pictures, file, movies, documents etc. are stored in the computer. These files are of course accessed by the motherboard as nothing can happen without the motherboard!
a 'hard disk card' could refer to a PCI, PCI-E controller card for a computer, or a circuit board on the hard drive, or a solid-state drive (which is just one circuit board).
Base casting is mounted on the bottom of a hard drive disk unit. It is part of the intelligent circuit board that is wired there.
The problem is either a mother board failure or a hard disk failure (or bus failure). You need to have it diagnosed to find out what the problem is and what steps there are to correct it. You can probably use your original system software CD ROM to boot from; if that DOES work, then the problem is the hard drive. If that doesn't work, it's the mother board or bus.
hard disk smps (switch mode power supply) ,ram , graphic card, dvd writer, hard disc, external usb are the parts connected to the mother board
