It's on the throttle body. The big thing on top of the engine with the numbers 3100 on it is the Air intake Manifold. Standing in front of the car, bolted on the right side of this is the throttle body. Move to the divers side so you can see behind the throttle body. There are 2 plastic boxes with wire connectors. The one on top is the idle air control, and the one on the bottle is the throttle position sensor. It's very easy to remove and clean. Remove the two screws with the appropriate star type driver or an alan wrench will do. Spray the ever loving heck out of it and inside the throttle body to get all the gunky black "coke" (burnt carbon) out of it. Reconnect the wire connector and press the tip down against the spring as far as it will go. Now watch is as you put the key in an turn the car to on without starting the car. The valve should move up or down. If not, it's probably worn or burt out. Shouldn't cost more than 25 to 30 to replace.
