Making a decision of using Girl Scout money is a troop decision. The girls in the troop should make suggestions for places they would like to go, then check into how much it will cost and if the troop can afford to go, and then vote.

As to the "where", there are many things to consider when making that decision. The level of the troop will limit how far you can travel. A local event would be cheaper than traveling a long distance. You need to find out if there are enough adults,a First Aider, and transportation. Find out what the girls in the troop are interested in.

Places troops have gone with their Girl Scout money:

Juliette Gordon Lowe's Birthplace in Savannah, Georgia

Washington, DC - Girl Scouts sponsor a sing-along in Washington DC each June

Disney World

Disney Land

Girl Scout Destinations - trips/events organized by Girl Scout councils with a topic or theme. Some are troop trips and some are individual trips.

Camping - troop camping or residential camp or day camp
