The Bible clearly states that there is only one god, and we must pray to him only. and it never says in the K.J.V bible to pray to Mary.
Additional Information:
As was mentioned, the Bible says there is only one God, and He alone is called the 'hearer of prayer' (Psalm 62:2) (Matthew 6:9), but at this point we, as imperfect people, can only approach him through a 'mediator' (a 'go-between').
During the days of Israel's covenant with God, Moses was the mediator (Galatians 3:19).
Years later, when the Mosaic Law was ended, Christ became the 'mediator' of the NEW covenant with the Christian Congregation and now "there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus..."(1 Timothy 2:5) KJV
(John 14:6)"...Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me..."NIV
The Bible indicates that there IS only ONE God, and we need to pray only to Him, but through Jesus' name.
After Jesus' death, all Jesus' disciples, including Mary, were praying.
(Acts 1:13+14)" . . .These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren."
Of course the Blessed Virgin Mary did not pray the rosary because during her time there was no such thing as rosary.
The word "pray" occurs 313 times in 306 verses in the KJV bible.
In the K.J. V bible , there is no mention of Marys death.
Nope
The bible does not mention their names, but they were known to Jesus and Mary , as they were invited to it.
The word "pray" is in the King James Version of the Bible 313 times. It is in 306 verses. Please see the related link below. Note: The phrase "I pray thee" is used in the KJV to mean "I ask you." So not all the occurrences of the word "pray" are talking about prayer to God.
It doesn't. Christmas was created by church leaders to celebrate the birth of Jesus. The Bible does not record his birth date. this person is right but it does mention that he was born in a stable, with his mother Mary, when she was about 13 (possibly wrong).
There is no mention made of this in the Bible. However, Mary Magdalene is several times mentioned as having had seven devils cast out of her.
In those ages the records are not kept correctly like today. And as people were mot so educated as well either. So in the bible the age of Mary and the age of Joseph are not at all mentioned clearly at all.
Pray to God through Christ. Don't pray to Mary, she is not God.
In Matthew 1:18 it is recorded that Mary and Joseph were betrothed. There is no mention of a ceremony or any kind of formality associated with the betrothal.
It is not necessary to salvation to pray to Mary. However, Mary can be a great help to a soul seeking eternal salvation.
They pray to both.
