Mitochondria, (singular Mitochondrion) are found in eukaryotic cells. (Amoeba, and cells which make up larger organisms such as plants and animals). They are like a cell's batteries and generate the chemical adenonsine triphosphate (ATP) which is the primary chemical we use to get energy in the body (breaking the bond which holds it together, releases energy).
Mitochondria are found in both animal and plant cells - within the cytoplasm near the lysosomes; they produce energy for the cells
Muscle cells. They are in eukariyotic cells. They are tthe power houses of cells
It is DNA that is found in the mitochondria of a cell. By:justin
Mitochondrial DNA is localized in the matrix of the mitochondria.
Mitochondria are in eukariyotes. They are in cytoplasm.
near the cytoplasm
Matrix
Mitochondrial dna is inherited solely from the mother.
Mitochondrial DNA codes for 13 mitochondrial proteins, 16S and 12S rRNA and 22 tRNAs
It is found in the nucleus. the nucleus is the brain of the cell
Mitochondrial DNA, because is found in small structures outside the nucleus of a cell and is inherited from the biological mother.
as big as it wants to be
Mitochondrial dna is inherited solely from the mother.
There are two kinds of DNA in a eukaryotic cell, nuclear and mitochondrial. Nuclear is found in the nucleus and mitochondrial is found in the mitochondria. However, not as many people know about mitochondrial DNA and the only time it is ever refered to is when you are tracking the mother's side of a family with DNA. So for the most part, DNA is found in the nucleus.Eukaryote DNA is located in the nucleus of the cell.
70s ribosomes are found. Circular DNA can be found
stop using the computer and look inside your notes!
DNA is mainly found in the nucleus of the cell. Of course, it can also be found in other organelles such as the mitochondria (therefore it is called mitochondrial DNA).
Mitochondrial DNA - journal - was created in 1980.
Mitochondrial DNA comes from the mother, so the mother's maternal line and all her children share the same mitochondrial DNA.
Mitochondrial DNA codes for 13 mitochondrial proteins, 16S and 12S rRNA and 22 tRNAs
In most organisms, including humans, the mitochondrial DNA is inherited from the mother.
None, mitochondrial DNA is inherited from the mother.
It is found in the nucleus. the nucleus is the brain of the cell
Yeast's is (~78kb), while human's is about 17kb
