The Garma Festival is an indigenous festival held in Gulkula, on the Dhupuma Plateau near Nhulunbuy in northeastern Arnhem Land, Northern Territory, Australia. It is held there because Gulkula is the traditional ceremonial meeting grounds of the Gumatj Clan.
The most northerly "town" in Australia is Nhulunbuy. It is slightly more northerly than Darwin, which is the most northerly city. (The term "town" connotes to me something of smaller size than a city, but not everyone has the same connotation.)
