Where is the o2 sensor on an o4 hyundai sonota 4cyl bank1 sensor2
the o2 sensor is located at the left side of the engine towards radiator and is the upper o2.
in the exhaust pipe some maybe in the exhaust manifold for 4 cylinders
on the transmission housing appx 12o'clock
Yes. Any car produced in the last 25 to 30 years will have an oxygen sensor. The readings are used to regulate the amount of fuel used by the engine.

The bank 1, sensor 3, O2 sensor would be the O2 sensor post cat.
If your looking just for what it means it says: Warm up Catalyst Efficiency Bank 1 Below Threshold I am looking up how to fix it and so far I think it says to replace the O2 Sensor but I'm doing more research.
All O2 sensors are threaded into the exhaust system. Bank 1 is the bank of cylinders that contains the number 1 cylinder. Sensor 1 is upstream (before the catalytic converter) and sensor 2 is downstream (after the catalytic converter). Your Accent has a 1.7 4 cylinder engine and has only one bank of cylinders. But it has 2 O2 sensors, one before (upstream) the cat and one after (downstream) the cat. The upstream sensor may also be called the Air/Fuel sensor.
It is the Oxygen Sensor that is screwed into the exaust pipe just past the catalytic converter. Sensor 2 means the downstream O2 sensor, post converter.
Bank one is the same side as cylinder one, this varies per manufacturer, but is generally on the passengers side of the car, so bank two would be opposite, then sensor 2 would be AFTER the catalytic converter, or post converter O2 sensor. Follow the exhaust to, or just past the catalytic converter and it will be the only thing connected to the exhaust with wires on it.
Trouble code P0136 means: O2 Circuit (Bank 1, Sensor 2)
