O2 sensor is located in the exhaust manifold just off the front of your motor. If you open the hood and locate your exhaust manifold, follow it down toward the radiator. you should see a 1-wire sensor sticking out of the exhaust manifold. this is your O2 sensor. you will need either a special Oxygen sensor removal tool, or a 7/8 wrench to remove it.
There are 2 o2 sensors One is in the exhaust manifold and has 1 wire off of it The other one is under the vehicle behind the catalytic converter It will have 4 wires coming iout of it The plug for the sensor is attached to the engine subframe behind the steering rack
The primary Oxygen sensor is screwed into the exhaust manifold at the point where all 4 chambers dump into the headpipe. It's the only component on the exhaust manifold that's connected to wiring. There should be a second oxygen sensor after the catalytic converter, but they seldom fail.
there are two O2 sensors on this vehicle. one is located just under the hood. if you follow the exhaust down from the front of the engine, the sensor is screwed right into the manifold. the second sensor is under the vehicle just after the catalytic converter.
That would be the O2 sensor after the catalytic converter.
The bank 1, sensor 3, O2 sensor would be the O2 sensor post cat.
The upstream O2 sensor is mounted in the ehxaust manifold The downstream O2 sensor is mounted in the exhaust pipe after the catalytic converter
It is the O2 sensor screwed into the front of the catalytic converter
It is in the exhaust after the converter.
Under the car along the exaust
The upstream O2 sensor is mounted in the ehxaust manifold The downstream O2 sensor is mounted in the exhaust pipe after the catalytic converter
