The oil filter is located on top of the engine, up front, right where a battery would be located if it was under the hood on the driver's side. The filter compartment has a screw off cap. Unscrew the cap, take out the old filter and replace it with a new one. Once you buy a new filter, you will get an idea what the compartment will look like. Its not your standard oil filter.
