02 sensor circuit slow response bank (bank 1 sensor 1)
There are two in the exhaust system on the rear of the engine.
Rear of engine, upper part of exhaust system.
P0140 code means the rear 02 sensor behind the catalytic convertor has an open circuit. It says no communication from the rear 02 sensor. The rear 02 sensor is also called sensor 2, whether it be bank 1 or bank 2. Hope this helps.
Bank 1 is the driver side.
remove and replace.
There are two. One on either side of the catalytic converter.
There are two screwed into the exhaust on the rear of the engine.
i have dodge intrapid 2.7l my 02 sensor light come on p0051
its on the passenger side rear one.
There is on on each side of the catalytic converter in the exhaust.
Bank 1 (one) is the side in front of car (Bank 2 is rear, firewall side) 02 sensor 1 is upstream, on exhaust manifold (02 sensor 2 is downstream, by cat. conv.)
Yes, a bad O2 sensor would cause a 2002 Dodge Dakota to stall. It would also cause bad fuel mileage and hard idling within the vehicle.
1 is on the intake manifold and the 02 sensor is right befor your cataylic converter
It is inside the transmission, on the valve body. It is part of the solenoid, trans range sensor assembly.
Replace the downstream O2 sensor
Be sure the 4-way is turned off.
where is the secondary 02 sensor on a 2004 crv
P0161 is a Lambda heater sensor malfunction (oxygen sensor) located in the front section of the exhaust system.
It might be in the diagram of parts and places, if comes with it.
There are two - one on either side (front/before and rear/after) of the catalytic converter.
Not knowing what engine you have in that 02 Dodge, the bank of cylinders on a V6 or V8 that contains the #1 cylinder is bank 1. Sensor 1 would be the first sensor threaded into the exhaust system after that bank.
