If you have a 4 cyl eng, looking down from the front of the car it would be directly under the intake in line with the black breather box on top of the engine. it is attached to the transmission bellhousing.
1997 olds achieva remove starter and wire plug got pulled out and we cant find where it goes? help?
Probably behind the glove box or nearby
I don't think so, because a 93 is an OBD I computer, the 98 is an OBD II
A friend of mine owns a shop, he thought my 93 had the DOHC 2.3, he said good luck with that! I have the SOHC, those are pretty easy, there are two bolts going in from the starter side, and one from the transmission side. He said the DOHCs aren't impossible, but not much fun...
You will fine it right on side of the starter on the front side of the motor
Alero
I get about 30 miles to the gallon with my olds achieva.
The low pressure port that is located under the front passenger side of the car in front of the starter. I took me forever to find it.
your starter prob has a flat spot try to hit the starter with a hammer then try to restart.
In the fuel tank
It is in the gas tank.
Check the fuses...look for the biggest (highest amperage) fuse in the fusebox. If that's not it then you have a bad connection/wire in the starter/battery/alternator harness.
