The motor mount bolt size for a 1996 Windstar 3.8 is cross-thread a 3/8" bolt. That is the only bolts that will fit.

I have a 1991 geo metro with a 1.0 liter 3 cyl. that takes 3.7 quarts with filter.I also have a 1991 geo tracker 1.6liter four cyl.that takes 4.6 quarts with filter.If you put in 3 quarts for the 3 cyl and 4 quarts for a 4 cyl then top off as needed you can't go wrong.

it will depend on the miles on the engine. So in theory : NEW : 160 200,000 miles probably 130 to 145 range. mainly what you don't wnat to see is this sinerio: cyl #1 135 cyl #2 115 cyl #3 60 cyl #4 110 this would mean possible leaking head gasket, or if cyl #3 shows 0 then 2 bad valves on cyl #3.hope this helps.
LCM 96 and 3 is 96 as 3 goes into 96 an even nunebr of times (32) and 96*1=96 so the LCM is 96
for a 4 cyl. its 1-3-4-2 for a 6 cyl. its 1-4-2-5-3-6. the number 1 cyl. is always the one near the timing belt in front of the car same for 4 or 6 cyl.
