The four wheel drive buttons are located between the steering column, and the a/c controls. If you do not have 4wd, then they appear as two small rectangular blank spots (if you get a small flathead screwdriver you can pry it off- if you do it gently it will not break)
The brake light switch relay for your 1997 Chevy truck is located beneath the drivers side dashboard. The brake light relay switch will be above the brake pedal.

The 1989 Chevy Silverado pickup truck window wiper relay switch can be found on the firewall in the engine compartment. The relay switch will be on the passenger side of the firewall.
