ok so the leader of viridian city is blue and hes on cinibar iland. but first you haf to beat the leader on the seafoam ilands. then you go to cinibar and talk to blue. he says a bunch of stuf to you, and now you go back to viridian city and the old guy in front is now moved out of the way.
p.s. the leader on seafoam iland has a bunch of fire type Pokemon. but blue has Pokemon from all sorts of types.
