The thermostat is on the water inlet side of the cooling system. This is side closest to the serpentine belt, right below the alternator and intake manifold. Just have to drain the cooling system first (wait until if completely cools down!), disconnect the ECT sensor, remove two nuts, disconnect water inlet from block. Thermostat will be right behind that, don't forget the gasket.
