On mine it was located in the boot. If you were to open the tailgate and look into the boot there was a panel on the left side of the boot floor that lifted up, much like lifting the bit where the spare wheel is kept but its the section that doesn't lift up when you lift the spare wheel bit up. The CD changer is in the trunk.
The CD changer is located in a small box in the trunk. Some cars have the CD controller but not the CD changer. It was likely an expensive add on at the dealer.
