In the left rear wheel well. You have to take off the wheel to access it, Once the wheel is off, the filter is still hard to access. It's towards the front of the wheel well, down low, about a foot inboard from the fender, and partially hidden by a shiny, corrugated aluminum heat shield. You have to bend the heat shield out of the way to access the filter.
