its on the drivers side right under the power streering pump just follow the fuel line from the tb and should lead you to it.

No carburetor on that 89 S10. It would be throttle body fuel injected.
If you're thinking of a fuel pump inertia kill switch, the 89 S10 doesn't have one.
It cost about 10 bucks at any auto part store.

Bad fuel pump, fuel pump relay, blown fuse, or loose connections.
You need fuel, compression and spark to run, you are missing one of those.

I wish I could answer you but I am having the same problem with my 89 Chevy s10 everything was fine till working on distributor. put new computer in still not help have fuel pressure. If you fixed your problem maybe you could give me some info?
gasoline-usually 89 octane. fuel filter is in the rochester 2se carburetor on a 2.8l 1983 Chevy motor.
under the car in front of the back wheel,drivers side,next to gas tank.
the fuel filter is above the gas tank. I have an 89 supra, had to replace fuel pump and filter. not very hard to do.
