Leadville was never the capital of Colorado it was going to be but leadvillle had to many problems.. for example drugs, fights, people were in the bar till almost 3-4 in the morning because they wornt closed till 4 in the morning, also the mining there was really popular but when it closed everything was so diffrent. That made lots of people wanting to move. There are so many other resons why leadville didn't become the capital of Colorado.
