It's named The Necedah National Wildlife Refuge, not reserve. Located 4 miles west of Necedah, WI on Highway 21. Turn right (North) on Headquarters Road, go 2 miles to a T in the road, the Headquarters Building/Visitors Center is right in front of you. Visitors Center is open 9:00am - 4:00pm Monday thru Saturday; closed Christmas Eve, New Years eve and Federal Holidays.
Refuge is 44,000 acres. On the west and north sides, it is bordered by the Meadow Valley Wildlife Area comprised of 58,000 acres (Owned by the Wisconsin DNR).
Fishing, Hunting, allowed using Wisconsin State Licenses and Regulations. Areas are restricted by Refuge riules. Berry picking, birding, hiking permitted Refuge-wide Julu 1-August 15, other times consult Refuge.
