The voltage regulator is partially built into the alternator and partially controlled by the PCM. It is not available separately through standard retail channels.
The plasic end at the end of the cable track has been broken off. The only fix is to replace the regulator assembly.
On the 99 Olds Intrigue, the camshaft sensor is located on the rear of the engine. It is just above the starter.
remove the wing nuts or nuts and the whole assembly can be removed from the car wing nut removal from inside the trunk
There are 2 slide locks behind the assembly holding the entire unit in. Pull them up and remove the unit out enough to replace the bulbs or the unit.
Only the Olds Intrigue with the 3.5 L
The camshaft sensor on the 99 Olds Intrigue is located on the engine block. It is under the starter, which has to be removed to locate the camshaft sensor.
