You did not say what size engine but in most cases the PCV valve is in the valve cover.
it is at end of vacuum hose, on top of valve cover..
Check under intake is not a PVC is a air/oil separator
it goes to the purge valve in the back of your motor.

Pull upward on the hose that the PCV valve is in. The PCV valve will pull out of the hose. The PCV valve is located in the valve cover.
