It is attached to the valve body inside of the transmission.

it is on the rear valve cover.very hard to get to..The pcv valve is not visible on a 3800 series II engine, which I presume you have in your Grand Prix, because it is located under the MAP sensor. You will find that at the front of the engine, where the serpentine belt is located. Unplug the connector to the MAP sensor and then you will have to unclip the sensor itself. If you stand at the front of the car, looking at the engine, it will be on driver's side near the throttle body.
