Where is the Scripture in the Bible that pretty much says if you don't stand up and defend what is right you are condoning what is wrong?

The notion of 'obstruction of justice' is found in Leviticus 5:1.

And if a soul shall sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and be a witness, whether he hath seen or known of it; if he doth not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity.

There's another verse in the New Testament, in James 4:17, that touches upon this topic.

To him therefore that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
