The VIN is in many places on your CLK. Probably the most convenient is directly ahead of the driver on the dashboard close to where the windshield meets the dash. It is best read from outside the car leaning over the driver's side front fender.
Also if you have last years car insurance records the VIN is part of those documents and it is typically also on your registration forms.
It is a 2001.
You will find the VIN number in the neck of the frame. Engine number, the vin is on the neck but as a dirt bike it may not have an engine #

The VIN number is located on the windshield on the left side of the dashboard. It can also be found on the right inner fender of the 2001 VW Passat.

The VIN number is a 17 digit number (for cars made in 1981-present), and it is located on the drivers side dash. It should be viewable through the winshield. On a 2001 Volkswagen Cabriolet, the first digit will begin with a 1, 3, 9, or W, depending on where the car was manufactured. The tenth digit will be a 1 (standing for 2001) for the year the car was manufactured. If you can find these digits on your car, you have found the VIN number.
You are missing some of the Vin but it is a 2001
You do not have a complete vin number. The vin number must be 17 digits. Based on what you have submitted (may or may not be correct), the 10th character identifies the year, in this case the 1 represents a 2001 model.
The chassis, or VIN number, is on the car behind the windscreen. Around the windscreen is a ceramic frit, or obscuration band, which will have a 'chassis view' or VIN notch/window enabling the chassis/VIN to be viewed. HTH
