grand Cherokee abs module replacementit is located on the drivers side inner wheel well (under the hood) and mounted vertically. the black electrical connector has a silver clasp on it. lift the silver clasp and pull the connector off the module. there are 3 bolts that hold the module to rubber bushings on the bracket. relatively easy to do - about 20 minutes if you are not mechanically inclined.

Your ABS Module has an internal failure. It is most common for the internal relay to stick and make pump run. Pump itself is fuse #102 (constant battery voltage) in the underhood fuse panel, so you can make it stop running until you replace the module. Note: Module and pump come as an assembly used. As a 20-year veteran mechanic, I would get a used assembly from a salvage yard.
Check the fuse panel on the driver's end of the dash and look at fuse # 14 If the # 14 fuse is a 20 amp - you have the rear wheel ABS If the # 14 fuse is a 10 amp - you have 4 wheel ABS brakes You would think that the 4 wheel ABS would have a larger fuse , but it's 10 amp
You can get a new one at the dealers for $135 or you can get one at the boneyard (salvage) for about $20.
