The accelerator pedal position sensor in a 2005 Honda CR-V is typically located on the accelerator pedal assembly itself. It is mounted directly to the pedal mechanism, which is situated on the driver's side of the vehicle, near the floor. To access it, you may need to remove the lower dashboard panel or cover to reach the pedal assembly.
