Assuming you mean the throttle position sensor (TPS), it would be found attached to the throttle body.
The accelerator pedal has the sensor incorperated. It is replaced as a unit. Part # 30683516
The sensor will be by the accelerator pedal
A wiring diagram for the accelerator position sensor can be found in the vehicles maintenance manual. It can also be found in the cars repair manual.
On a 1999 Volvo V70, the accelerator pedal sensor is typically located on the accelerator pedal assembly itself, which is situated inside the vehicle, attached to the pedal mechanism. This sensor detects the position of the accelerator pedal and sends this information to the engine control unit (ECU). The ECU then adjusts the engine's throttle opening accordingly, optimizing engine performance and fuel efficiency based on the driver's input.
Accelerator pedal sensor error
To change the accelerator pedal position sensor on a 2006 Chrysler 300, first disconnect the negative battery terminal to ensure safety. Remove the screws or bolts holding the pedal assembly in place, then carefully detach the accelerator pedal from its mount. Disconnect the electrical connector from the old sensor, replace it with the new sensor, and reassemble the pedal assembly. Finally, reconnect the battery and test the pedal for proper function.

There is a sensor in the accelerator paddle should be your first place to check.
Look on the throttle body opposite of the accelerator linkage, most of them are there.
It is the electronic part at the base of the accelerator pedal itself.
it is located on the pedal, look on the pedal you will see a black sensor with connector plug. this is it
