on the recever drier for a/c system
Where is the electric radiator fan relay switch for a 2001 Audi A6 2.7t
You do not need any special tools to change out the auxiliary fan switch on a 1989 Volvo 780. The wrenches you normally use are sufficient.
check the fan switch.
Extra cooling. For there to be an auxiliary fan there usually must be a main fan. So,the auxiliary fan does some minor cooling purposes where it's not ideal to use a large fan.
There is no "switch" to to turn it on and off manually. It is operated by a temperature sensor relay and turns on and off automatically as needed.
Drivers side of the radiator, down towards the bottom. It will have a three wire plug on the end.
The fan sending unit is on the side near the thermostat housing.
Which switch are you looking for?? The one to turn it on and off is on the dashboard near the blower fan switch. You have to push it in and turn the fan on in order for it to activate your a/c compressor. Just having the switch on will not turn on the a/c, you have to have the fan turned on too.
relay is in fuse box, near break booster, fan switch is in left front of the intake, blue sensor has two pin.
When the air conditioning is activated the auxiliary fan relay turns the fan on to maximize cooling It controls the auxiliary fan, which comes on to aid in cooling during heavy loads.
see link below
If the engine cooling system fan, check the fuse/relay to see if the it has blown out. If not the fuse/relay, the cooling system temperature sensor switch may have failed. For he A/C system auxiliary cooling fan, the same trouble-shooting method. If you are referring to the cabin interior circulating air fan - check the fuse and/or the switch that controls the fan speed.
