On a bag of chips, the bar code can usually be found on the back of the bag. More often than not, it is in the bottom left- or right-hand corner, but has also been seen in the top corners of the bag as well.
Whatever it says on the bag, or if you can't read weigh yourself with the bag of chips then weigh yourself without the bag of chips and the difference is the weight of the bag of chips. Or you could just weigh the bag of chips, genious!
