where is the bcm located on a 2005 chevy cobalt

Body Control Module(BCM) is located inside kickboard(passenger side)
A 1995 Neon doesn't have a BCM (body control module)
It is bolted to the fire wall under the dash on the driver side.
The lights are controlled by the Body Control Module (in the fuse box), from a signal on your dimmer switch, also called the multifunction switch. Do not swap out the BCM with a junkyard one, as it must be programed for your car (i am going through this now with my 96 Dodge Stratus)
The BCM is under the glove box. There are two 9mm bolts that hold in the cover plate. The BCM is right above the fan bower motor
My first suggestion is to have the Body Computer (BCM) checked for codes. Chrysler has released a software update for the bcm that the dealer can perform that fixes a lot of lock complaints on 2005 vans.
Unplug Battery for 10 minutes. BCM issue. Not sure on original cause. It is normally due to a software bug in the bcm. The dealer can flash New software into the bcm to correct the problem.
It is under the dash on the driver side, Behind the parking brake pedal on the firewall.
It does not have a BCM.
The bcm that controls power windows, locks and doors is located on the driverside floor.
