In a small hole near the grass Here's an easy way to get worms. Lay a piece of cardboard flat on the ground anywhere, bare or grassy. Get it sopping wet (with a garden hose or whatever) and leave it alone for at least 24 hours. When you pick it up, there will be dozens of worms under it. (The bigger the cardboard, the more worms...and you didn't have to hunt!)
