Where is the best place to train level 40 and up in Pokemon black?

I recommend defeating the 8th Gym and go ahead and train in Victory Road. The Pokemon (Wild or Trainer's Pokemon) would be around in the 40-50 level range and would be a perfect spot to train, especially if you equipped your training Pokemon with a Lucky Egg. This boosts the amount of Exp. of every battle.

∙ 12y agoIn Shiny Gold,the best place to train is the cave before Indigo Plateau.There are many lvl 30+ Pokemon here.Rock and ground Pokemon in first room.Ursaring,Solrock and lunatone can be seen here rarely.Magmar,Slugma,etc in heated floor(second room).Lanturn,Tentacruel in water.Jynx,Spheal,Delibird,Swinub,Piloswine and sneasel in Icy rooms.Gloom,Vileplume and Ariados in Grass patched rooms.Golbat can be encountered in every room.

∙ 12y agothe best place to train,in my opinion,is always the elite four.
just keep trying as hard as you can to beat them-just not using too many potions until your pokémon level up a bit.

∙ 12y agoIf by '40 and up' you mean levels 40-49, then I'd recommend either the Victory Road caves, or the grass along the route to Victory Road.
